Our Landmark Building was designed by the noted architect, Ralph Adams Cram. For more than a century it has provided a spiritual home to people of all races and nationalities seeking God’s presence in their lives. And in recent years this has included an influx of Burmese refugees. The sacred space which Cram created provides a sanctuary from the world for prayer and meditation, and enhances the beauty of the weekly liturgy, as well as special celebrations, such as weddings, baptisms, and honoring those who have passed.
However at a hundred years and counting the building is in need of significant repairs if our ministry is to continue. In 2014 we had to replace our 700,000 BTU steam boiler. And we are now facing re-roofing the parish hall and doing extensive masonry restoration. Both of these projects require specialized contractors. And the cost of these efforts is taxing the limited resources of our small, but dedicated, congregation. If you feel motivated to help us in our mission, any donation large or small will help a great deal.
This page displays photographs of some of these major projects, as well as some of the ongoing maintenance work being done by members of the congregation.
