It has always been clear that this parish has a strong and meaningful sense of purpose, a spiritual refuge continually providing strength for those in need of nourishment. We provide a full range of services for the Christian year, including some unavailable elsewhere in the city. Since 1974 there has been a concerted effort to pursue musical and liturgical excellence. Rite 1 of the Eucharist is the central service celebrated and all baptized are encouraged to receive communion.

Seasonal services, such as Advent Lessons and Carols, are patterned after Kings College, Cambridge; and there is full schedule of services for Holy Week. An annual Lenten Bible Study series is offered combined with a Lentin luncheon .

We also host the NYS Baroque concerts (www.nysema.com)  and, through the course of the year, many organ recitals and multi-parish concerts. Listen to WCNY for dates and times.

We also house The Inter-Religious Council Refugee Resettlement programs donations.

Parishioners are drawn to us from great distances. We believe that the beauty and dignity of our services attracts and fosters a deep sense of Christian community within the parish. Our desire to share this beyond our parochial boundries then becomes one of our most wanted and compelling goals.

The Refugee Resettlement Program of the Inter-Religious Council of Central New York fosters inter-religious and intercultural understanding between refugees of many different religions and cultures. They assist refugees from around the world to begin new lives in America. Assistance includes providing refugees with their first apartments and home furnishings, helping them to find employment and English classes, and aiding them in understanding their new country.

REFUGEES are people of all ages--men, women and children--who are unable to return to their country because of persecution, or a well-founded fear of persecution on the basis of race, religion, nationality, political opinion or membership in a particular social group. You can help refugees by donating household furnishings and goods, volunteering your time to help a refugee family with their life in America or as part of a civic group or religious congregation sponsoring a refugee or refugee family.
